After his recent victory in a civil litigation case, Cardi B is holding personal news.
The Grammy-winning rapper and artist revealed on Wednesday that she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Stefon Diggs, an open-label NFL receiver.
“I feel like I’m in a good time,” the singer told Gayle King in an interview with CBS on Wednesday.
I feel very powerful about doing all this work. “But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby, and my partner and I support each other a lot,” he added.
The news comes as she has been involved in a divorce dispute with the rapper Offset, whom she married in September 2017.
They have three young children and have separated several times throughout their relationship.
Cardi B spoke positively about her relationship with Diggs, who plays for the New England Patriots, and told CBS that he makes her feel safe, very confident, and very strong.
I mean, like, two weeks ago, I literally had a panic attack. I was crying and crying and crying, just because I was getting very nervous with, you know, the whole album release,” Cardi B said.
People were attacking me very hard. Sometimes people love you, sometimes they hate you. And people were saying very ugly things about me.
